I love finding those surprisingly good video games that come out of nowhere. You know, the ones you don't expect much from but end up being incredible.
My latest find is "Whispering Pines" - it's a horror adventure game made by a tiny team, but the atmosphere and sound design are absolutely top tier. I went in thinking it would be a quick, cheap scare but it turned into one of the most memorable gaming experiences I've had this year. Definitely one of those games that shocked me with how good it was.
What unexpectedly great games have you all discovered? I'm always looking for more of these pleasant surprises.
