With all the console gaming news 2025 focusing on hardware, I feel like we're not talking enough about the actual games! The upcoming console exclusives lineup for next year looks pretty stacked from what I've seen.

We've got the usual suspects from first-party studios, but I'm also hearing about some really interesting third-party exclusives in the works. Some of these console collector's editions look absolutely insane too.

What upcoming console exclusives are you most looking forward to? And do you think any of them will be system-sellers for new hardware like the rumored PS5 Pro or Switch 2?

For upcoming console exclusives, I'm really excited about what Sony's first-party studios have cooking. They've been quiet lately, which usually means they're working on something big.

Some of these console collector's editions do look tempting, but I've learned to wait for reviews. Sometimes the quality doesn't match the price tag.

I think we'll see some games announced specifically for new hardware. Maybe not at launch, but shortly after. Developers usually get early access to dev kits, so they can have games ready.

The console gaming news 2025 should start revealing more about these games soon. We usually get teasers a year or so before release.

Xbox has some interesting exclusives coming up too. Their acquisition spree should start bearing fruit soon. I'm curious to see what Bethesda and Activision teams are working on.

Game Pass new releases have been keeping me pretty busy though. Sometimes I don't even buy exclusives at launch because I know they might come to Game Pass eventually.

Third-party exclusives are getting more interesting too. Not just timed exclusives, but games built specifically for certain platforms. With all the console cloud gaming news, I wonder if we'll see cloud-exclusive games that can't run locally.
