As someone who follows public transport accessibility issues, I'm always struck by how complex making transit truly accessible can be. It's not just about wheelchair ramps and elevators, though those are important.

Real accessible transit systems need to consider everything from audio announcements for visually impaired riders to clear wayfinding for people with cognitive disabilities. And then there's the challenge of making the entire journey accessible, not just the vehicles themselves.

I'm particularly interested in how new technology can help. Can real time transit tracking apps be designed to be more accessible? What about contactless payment systems for people with dexterity challenges?

But beyond the physical and technological aspects, there's also the human element. Staff training, customer service attitudes, and creating a culture of inclusion all matter.

What do you see as the biggest remaining challenges for creating truly accessible transit systems?
