I've been contemplating which historical events that transform thinking have had the most profound impact on human consciousness throughout history. Some events don't just change politics or borders - they change how humans think about themselves, the universe, and their place in it.
The Scientific Revolution comes to mind, but so do events like the spread of major world religions, the Enlightenment, or even the development of writing systems. Each of these represented a fundamental shift in how humans process and transmit knowledge.
What historical events that transform thinking do you think have been most significant? And how do we recognize when we're living through such transformative moments in our own time?
