I'm getting tired of books that fit neatly into one category. I'm looking for genre-defying page-turners that blend elements from different genres in interesting ways.

I love when a book starts as one thing and becomes something else entirely, or when it combines elements you wouldn't expect to work together. What are the best genre-defying page-turners you've read that surprised you with their originality?
