I've been focusing on SEO for e-commerce stores and I'm finding that long-tail keywords e-commerce are where the real opportunity is. Broad keywords are too competitive, but long-tail phrases can drive highly targeted traffic that actually converts.

What tools and methods do you use for finding effective long-tail keywords for e-commerce? I'm also interested in how to optimize product pages and content for these specific phrases.
For finding long-tail keywords e-commerce, I use a combination of Google's People also ask" section, AnswerThePublic, and just talking to customers. What questions do they have about products in your niche? Those questions often make perfect long-tail keywords. For example, instead of "hiking boots," target "best waterproof hiking boots for wide feet."
Create content specifically targeting long-tail keywords. Product comparison articles, buying guides, and best X for Y" articles are perfect for this. These types of content not only rank for long-tail keywords but also help customers make purchasing decisions, which increases conversion rates. It's a win-win for both SEO and sales.
Don't forget about optimizing product pages for long-tail keywords too. Include detailed descriptions that naturally incorporate these phrases. For example, if you're targeting organic cotton baby clothes for sensitive skin," make sure that phrase appears naturally in your product descriptions and you're addressing those specific concerns in your content.
