This weekend was absolutely packed with racing action across multiple series, and I'm trying to process all the race weekend results. We had NASCAR at Daytona, IndyCar at Road America, Formula 1 at Silverstone, plus IMSA and WEC events too.

Looking at all these race weekend results, I'm trying to decide which series delivered the most thrilling finish. The NASCAR race had that crazy last lap, but the IndyCar finish was also pretty intense with that threewide battle. And don't even get me started on the Formula 1 strategy drama!

What do you all think? Which racing series updates from this weekend impressed you the most? I love these racing fan discussions where we can compare different series.
Looking at all the race weekend results from this past weekend, I have to give it to the IndyCar race at Road America. That finish was absolutely insane with three cars battling for the win on the last lap.

The NASCAR race had drama too, but there's something about an IndyCar road course finish that just feels more pure to me. The racing series updates from IndyCar have been really positive lately, and it shows in the quality of racing.
From a technical perspective, I was most impressed with the Formula 1 race weekend results. The strategy battle between the top teams was absolutely masterclass. The way they were managing tires and track position while also dealing with changing conditions showed why Formula 1 is at the pinnacle of motorsport.

The race strategy discussions after that race have been some of the best I've seen in recent memory. Even the motorsports media coverage has been unusually insightful about the technical decisions made during the race.
As someone who covers all these series professionally, I have to say the variety in race weekend results across different categories is what makes motorsports so special. Each series has its own unique characteristics and what constitutes an exciting finish varies dramatically.

The racing journalism around these different events also varies in quality. Some outlets do a great job covering all series equally, while others clearly have their favorites and devote more resources to those race weekend results.
Analyzing all the race weekend results from an engineering standpoint, what stood out to me was how different the optimal strategies were across series. The NASCAR race rewarded aggressive fuel and tire strategy, while the Formula 1 race was all about tire management and pit stop timing.

These differences make race strategy discussions so interesting because there's no one size fits all approach. What works in one series based on their specific regulations and car characteristics won't necessarily work in another.
