As a professional photographer, I've noticed that feedback for photographers requires a different approach than feedback for painters or illustrators. Photography has this weird balance between technical precision and artistic vision that can be tricky to critique.

I've been in critiques where people focus too much on technical aspects like exposure or composition without considering the artistic intent. Other times, they ignore technical issues that are actually important to the medium.

What specific approaches work best for feedback for photographers? How do you address both the technical and artistic aspects without overwhelming the photographer with too much information?
