I work with creative entrepreneurs, and I've noticed there's a huge gap between creative feedback and business feedback. Artists often get great creative criticism on their work, but when it comes to creative business feedback, they're lost.
The transition from making art to running a creative business requires completely different feedback. Creative entrepreneurship feedback needs to address marketing, pricing, client management, and sustainability, not just the quality of the work.
What have you found most helpful when giving or receiving creative business feedback? How do you balance artistic integrity with commercial viability in your feedback?
