I recently got a 3D printer and I'm looking for good free 3D printing software to prepare my models. I've tried a few slicers but I'm wondering what the community recommends for actually creating and modifying models specifically for 3D printing. I need something that handles supports well and can check for printability issues. Are there any free tools that are particularly good for 3D printing workflow? I'm not looking for professional CAD software, just something practical for hobbyist use.
