With everyone working in the box these days, I'm wondering if mixing console tutorials are still worth watching. I see a lot of mixing console tutorials that focus on analog consoles, but most of us are working entirely in DAWs.
That said, I've found that understanding how analog consoles work has actually improved my digital mixing. Concepts like channel strips, bus routing, and console workflow seem to translate well to DAWs.
What mixing console tutorials have you found helpful, even if you don't own an actual console? Are there specific mixing console tutorials that teach concepts that apply to digital mixing too?
