I'm helping a friend get started with music production for beginners, and I'm realizing how overwhelming it can be. There are thousands of resources claiming to teach music production for beginners, but so many of them either assume you already know things or they're just trying to sell you something.
What music production for beginners resources actually helped you when you were starting? I'm looking for things that build skills progressively, not just random tips and tricks. Resources that teach you how to finish songs, not just how to use plugins.
