Summer's coming up and I want to plan some great outdoor community events. What are your favorite types of outdoor events that work well in warm weather? I'm thinking about everything from picnics to outdoor movies to sports tournaments. What considerations are most important for outdoor events - shade, water access, bathroom facilities, etc.? How do you plan for weather contingencies without letting uncertainty kill attendance? Any tips for creating comfortable outdoor spaces that encourage people to stay and mingle?
