We all talk about leadership effectiveness, but I'm struggling with how to measure it comprehensively. Team performance improvement metrics are important, but they don't tell the whole story about leadership impact on teams.
What other indicators do you use to assess leadership effectiveness? How do you measure things like leadership influence skills, leadership trust building, or leadership emotional intelligence? Are there qualitative measures that complement quantitative team performance data?
I'm also interested in how leadership growth strategies factor into effectiveness measurement. If a leader is actively developing their skills through leadership development programs or leadership coaching, how does that show up in their effectiveness metrics? And how do you account for the time lag between leadership skill building and visible results in team performance improvement?
