I've been experimenting with different leadership motivation techniques, but I'm finding that what works initially often loses effectiveness over time. Short-term incentives might boost productivity temporarily, but they don't seem to contribute to sustained team performance improvement.

What leadership motivation techniques have you found create lasting engagement and drive? How do you balance intrinsic versus extrinsic motivation approaches? And how does this connect with leadership team building and leadership trust building?

I'm particularly interested in techniques that align with leadership vision setting - how do you help team members connect their daily work to larger organizational goals in a way that genuinely motivates them? What role does leadership communication skills play in maintaining motivation over the long haul?
