Okay, I just finished watching that movie and I’m still stuck on the very last shot of the main character just sitting on the bench. What was that supposed to mean for his whole journey? I walked away feeling like I missed a crucial piece, because my take feels totally different from what my friend got from it. I’m just trying to figure out if the ending was meant to be hopeful or completely bleak.
That final bench moment hit me in the gut I walked away with both hope and an ache like the story tugging at a thread you could pull but never finish
The shot feels like a hinge between chapters a visual quiet that asks who carries the journey after the crowd disperses the ending here is less a verdict than a pause
I kept thinking the bench was for a different character maybe the film is switching focus and the main arc is someone else hidden in the frame
I am not sure the movie wishes you to decode a single answer it feels like it tests how you fill gaps the bench becomes a placeholder for your own read of the journey
What if the ending is not about victory or defeat but about process not product the bench is the moment where possibility stays open
Do you think the ending is hopeful or bleak or does the film want you to decide what counts as hope
