My phone's battery health is at 72% according to the diagnostics. It barely lasts half a day with normal use. I'm considering smartphone battery replacement but I'm not sure if it's worth it or if I should just get a new phone. Has anyone done smartphone battery replacement themselves? What are the risks?
Smartphone battery replacement is worth it if your phone is otherwise in good condition and less than 3 years old. Battery health below 80% means you're only getting about 2/3 of the original capacity. Replacement batteries are relatively inexpensive compared to a new phone. Just make sure you get a quality battery from a reputable source.
