Dropped my phone and now the screen is cracked pretty badly. It still works but the cracks are spreading and making it hard to see. I'm trying to decide between phone repair DIY methods or taking it to a professional for phone screen cracked repair. Has anyone tried replacing their own screen? How difficult is it really?

Phone screen cracked repair DIY is possible but risky. You need the right tools (heat gun, suction cups, pry tools) and patience. The biggest challenges are: 1) not damaging the LCD underneath, 2) getting all the glass shards out, 3) applying adhesive properly. For most people, professional phone screen cracked repair is worth the cost.
