So I just got my renewal notice and my premium jumped up a lot more than I expected this year. I haven’t had any tickets or claims, and my car is a year older. I’m trying to figure out what might have caused such a big increase—is this just how it is now, or did something specific trigger it? I’m wondering if getting a fresh quote elsewhere is the move, but I’m not sure if that resets some kind of customer loyalty clock or if it’s all just a numbers game.
