Okay, so I’ve been trying to find something new to watch that actually grabs me, but I keep hitting a wall. I’ll start a show, get three episodes in, and just completely lose interest. I feel like I’ve seen every premise already. Has anyone else had a stretch where nothing seems to stick, and how did you finally break out of it?
Yeah I hear you, that wall where a new show stops grabbing you after a few episodes and you start scrolling for something else.
Maybe the issue is not the premise but the pacing and format you keep chasing a single hit in one run of episodes and that makes any show feel thin.
What if you try a completely different vibe this week, does that help break the loop for the next show?
What if the goal shifts from finding a perfect single show to sampling moods across formats and letting each one teach you what you actually want.
Try a tiny ritual like pick a show by one element such as setting or soundtrack then commit to two episodes and see if it resonates.
I have felt that fatigue too and sometimes I reset with a short quirky indie show to shake up my radar.
