Okay, so I just downloaded the new season patch and jumped into the first major story quest. I was really into the new zone, but now I’m stuck because a key quest item just… isn’t there? The marker is on my map, but the interactable object is completely missing. Is this a known bug, or did I somehow sequence-break by doing things in a weird order?
That’s maddening. You see the marker and the quest item just vanishes.
Could be a state desync. Try reloading a save from before you picked up the zone, or reset the quest. If the item is supposed to spawn after a trigger, that trigger might not have fired because of how you advanced.
Maybe the quest item is nearby but you have to check behind a crate or in a corner; sometimes the game hides it until you look at the right angle. Have you checked nearby?
I doubt it’s your sequence—patch chaos is a real thing. A few folks I know saw this after update.
What if the problem isn’t the item but how the game gates the scene? The marker could be teasing the next beat while the actual item isn’t ready.
I’d just wander a bit and see if the quest item pops in after you trigger another objective; sometimes assets stream in later.
