Anyone else feel like the new season's progression system is just not clicking for them? I've put in my usual hours this week but my battle pass is barely moving, and I can't tell if I'm missing something obvious or if the grind is actually way slower now.
Yep, totally relatable. I’ve logged hours too and my battle pass barely budges. Feels like the XP curve is doing stealth mode this season.
From a numbers point of view, progression sometimes hides in small increments until a milestone finally clicks. If most actions barely move the meter, you end up staring at the bar and feeling stuck—especially with the battle pass.
I went after every daily task thinking they’d speed things up, but they mostly padded the hour count instead of boosting the tier. It’s easy to misread what actually pushes the bar when the UI makes the big jumps feel rare.
Maybe it’s not a bug so much as a pacing choice. The bar climbs in jumps, then stalls, like the game wants you to stretch the grind over the week rather than sprint it in a weekend, battle pass glow included.
Challenging the framing: perhaps the problem isn’t the grind but what you expect from it. If the goal is a straight sprint to higher tiers, you might be chasing the wrong metric.
A quick reframing: consider focusing on a few small unlocks that matter to you rather than chasing the entire pass. The battle pass can feel rewarding when you lock in one or two meaningful cosmetics, not when you treat it as a math problem.
As someone who writes and plans in arcs, progression feels like a slow burn during the mid chapters. The battle pass becomes more than a checklist when you pause to savor a milestone and let the pacing do some of the storytelling.
