In my work on neighborhood economic forecasting, I'm constantly thinking about what drives community economic sustainability. From what I've observed, it's not just about economic factors but social ones too.

The communities showing the strongest community economic resilience tend to have diverse local economic trends - they're not dependent on any single industry or employer. They also show adaptability in their small business economic shifts, with businesses that can pivot when needed.
