So I’m in my late thirties and for the last few months, I’ve noticed it’s taking me a bit longer to get going in the bathroom, especially first thing in the morning. It’s not a full-on problem, but the stream just seems weaker and it’s on my mind. Has anyone else experienced this kind of slow start as they’ve gotten older?
Yeah that slow start in the bathroom is annoying and it winds up coloring the whole morning I hear you
In this age range digestion can shift and constipation may show up as a weaker morning stream after sleep
I might be reading this wrong but it sounds like you are noticing the wake up pace of your body not the actual act itself
Maybe this is just a normal blip and the framing makes it feel bigger than it is and constipation could be a factor
What if the issue is less about the stream and more about how stress sleep and hydration set the tempo for the gut
As a reader I notice how the scene is set and how a slower pace can spark questions about habits and expectations
If it sticks consider checking in with a clinician and keeping a simple diary of fluids fiber activity and timing to spot patterns
