So I’ve been bouncing between the Steam and Epic launchers for a while now, and honestly, I’m starting to feel a bit scattered. My library is split, my friends are on different platforms, and I just lost track of a game I bought because I forgot which service it was on. It’s making me wonder if anyone else feels this way, or if you just pick one and stick with it.
I hear you it feels chaotic to juggle Steam and Epic and friends on different platforms.
An easy fix is to pick a primary home and keep a quick list for the rest of your games.
I keep a tiny notebook of where a game sits so I can re download or switch saves if needed.
A skeptical take maybe the snag is not the launcher but how often we buy games and then forget where they hide.
If you lean into the idea that each launcher has its own vibe you might use that to decide what kind of games you treat as house rules like a workflow.
Maybe the question is not which launcher to pick but what assumptions about loyalty you want to test.
