I was browsing a few of the usual industry forums last night and stumbled across some pretty convincing-looking screenshots and concept art supposedly from the next *Dragon's Legacy* title. The art style seems to match the developer's previous work, and there were some detailed notes about a shift towards a more open-ended, faction-based narrative. Of course, it could all be an elaborate hoax, but it's got me and my friends speculating non-stop. I'm always torn on how much attention to pay to this kind of upcoming game leaks and rumors. Part of me loves the speculation and hype, but another part worries it spoils the official reveal or sets unrealistic expectations. I'm curious how others navigate this—do you actively seek out this info, or do you try to avoid it until an official announcement?
I’m with you on the hype around Dragon's Legacy rumors—fun to theorize, but I try not to get attached until something official drops.
Do you actively track rumored screenshots or do you skip straight to official announcements?
I do peek at rumors a bit, but I keep a list of sources I trust and mute the rest so I don’t chase every tiny flutter.
Sometimes a leak looks convincing, but it’s almost always missing context; I’d rather wait for devs to set expectations.
I’ve noticed hype timelines can warp what you expect from gameplay or story, which is a bummer if the final product is different.
For Dragon's Legacy or any big reveal, what level of detail do you want before hype cools off—teaser vibe, gameplay loop, or actual lore hints?
