I was recently diagnosed with PCOS, and my doctor went over some pcos treatment options with me, focusing mostly on birth control and metformin. My main concerns are the unpredictable cycles and weight gain, but I'm hesitant about long-term medication. For those managing this, have you found that lifestyle changes alone were enough to regulate things, or did you need to combine them with medication to see real results?
