My doctor mentioned my Framingham risk score at my last check-up, saying it was in a good range. I looked it up afterwards and saw it's based on things like age and cholesterol. I'm a bit confused, though—does this score account for family history of heart issues, or is it purely based on the numbers from my blood test and blood pressure reading?
