I was looking back at some major human rights issues 2020 reports for a paper I'm writing, and it's striking how many of the same systemic problems are still being flagged today. It makes me wonder how advocacy groups prioritize their efforts when the list of crises seems endless. Do they focus on the most immediate emergencies, or is there a strategy for tackling the deeper, recurring patterns that show up year after year?
