I'm trying to set up a small, automated hydroponic herb garden in my apartment's walk-in closet, which has no natural light, using a repurposed IKEA PAX wardrobe frame as the enclosure. I've got the basic ebb-and-flow system built with a 20-gallon reservoir, but I'm completely stuck on managing the humidity and heat generated by the four full-spectrum LED bars I installed; even with two small USB-powered exhaust fans, the temperature consistently hits 85°F and humidity stays above 80%, which is causing leggy growth and what looks like the start of mold on my basil. My total budget for a fix is under $150, and I can't make permanent modifications to the closet itself or run a loud, large duct, so I need a clever, compact solution to balance the climate inside that sealed cabinet before my entire cilantro and mint crop fails.
