I'm building a new gaming PC and trying to decide where to buy my games, as my library is currently split between Steam and the Epic Games Store. I love Steam's features like the workshop and robust community, but Epic's free games and occasional better developer revenue cut are appealing. For those who use both platforms regularly, what's your practical experience with things like download speeds, customer support, and overall reliability? Is it worth fragmenting my library to take advantage of Epic's sales and free offerings, or does Steam's mature ecosystem and feature set make it the better primary storefront for a serious PC gamer?
