I've been building a niche YouTube channel about historical woodworking techniques for about two years, and I've grown to around 50,000 subscribers with decent engagement. Up until now, I've just relied on AdSense, but the revenue is inconsistent and not enough to justify the time I invest. I'm looking into other creator monetization strategies like Patreon, selling digital plans, or affiliate marketing for tools, but I'm worried about alienating my audience with too many promotions. For those in a similar niche, what approach have you found most successful for converting a passionate, niche audience into sustainable income without compromising the educational feel of the content?
