I just watched the latest batch of upcoming movie trailers from the big studio presentations, and I'm struck by how many of them feel like they're revealing the entire plot. There's one sci-fi epic in particular where the three-minute trailer seems to show every major set piece and character beat, leaving little to the imagination. As someone who loves going into a film fresh, I'm finding it harder to avoid these comprehensive previews. Do you think this trend of overly explanatory trailers is hurting the theatrical experience, or is it just a necessary marketing tactic in a crowded streaming landscape?
