I'm launching a sustainable clothing brand focused on outdoor apparel, and I'm in the early stages of developing our brand identity design with a freelance designer. I have a clear vision for our values but struggle to articulate the specific visual language that will resonate with our target audience of environmentally-conscious hikers and campers. For other founders or marketing professionals, what was your process for briefing a designer and collaborating effectively? How did you ensure the logo, color palette, and typography not only looked good but also communicated your brand's story and differentiated you in a crowded market? I'm also unsure how to test concepts before finalizing them.
