I've recently taken over as president of our university's robotics club, and we're facing a significant drop in active membership and engagement after the graduation of our core senior leaders. My main challenge is rebuilding a sustainable structure that doesn't rely on a few overworked individuals. For other student club leaders who have successfully revitalized their organizations, what strategies did you use to recruit and train new officers, especially for technical roles? How did you create a welcoming environment for beginners while still pursuing competitive projects, and what are effective ways to secure consistent funding from the student government or corporate sponsors? I'm also struggling with meeting scheduling that works for everyone.
