I've been stuck in a musical rut lately, listening to the same playlists on repeat, and I'm craving some fresh indie album recommendations. I tend to gravitate towards atmospheric, lyric-driven stuff like early Bon Iver or Big Thief, but I'm open to any genre within the indie sphere. For fellow music lovers, what's an album from the last year or two that genuinely surprised you or became an instant favorite? I'm especially interested in lesser-known artists or projects that might have flown under the mainstream radar but have incredible depth and replay value. What was it about the songwriting, production, or overall vibe that hooked you?
