I'm considering buying my first electric vehicle, but I live in an apartment building without dedicated parking, which makes charging a major concern. My city has a few public electric vehicle charging stations, but they're often occupied or out of service. For other EV owners without home charging, what's your practical experience been like relying solely on public infrastructure? How do you plan your trips and manage range anxiety, and are there any apps or memberships you find essential for locating reliable fast chargers? I'm also curious about the etiquette at shared stations, like how long is too long to leave your car plugged in after it's fully charged.
