I've been using an iPhone 12 Pro for three years and am considering upgrading to the base iPhone 15, primarily for the USB-C port and better camera system for family photos. I'm hesitant because the performance jump might not be huge for my basic usage of social media, messaging, and light photography. I'm looking for a real-world iPhone 15 review from someone who made a similar upgrade. How noticeable is the battery life improvement in daily use, and is the 48MP main camera a significant step up in practice, especially in lower light? I'm also curious if the Dynamic Island feels like a useful feature or just a gimmick that gets ignored after the novelty wears off.
