I drive a 2018 crossover with about 60,000 miles, and I'm confused about the right oil change interval. The manufacturer recommends every 10,000 miles with synthetic, but the quick-lube place puts a sticker on my windshield for 3,000 miles. I do a mix of city commuting and occasional longer highway trips. Given my driving conditions and the vehicle's age, should I stick strictly to the manual's schedule, or is there a benefit to changing it more frequently, like every 7,500 miles, to potentially extend the engine's life?
