I've been dealing with severe anxiety before client presentations at my marketing job, and my therapist recommended incorporating daily breathing exercises to manage the physical symptoms. I've tried a few basic techniques, like box breathing and the 4-7-8 method, but I find my mind wanders and I can't seem to get the rhythm right when I'm actually in a stressful situation. I'm looking for practical advice on how to make these exercises a consistent habit and how to effectively use them in the moment when I feel a panic attack coming on during a meeting.
