I'm on the social committee for my neighborhood association, and we're trying to brainstorm fresh community engagement ideas to bring people together beyond the annual block party. We have a modest budget and want to plan a few smaller, regular events that appeal to different ages and interests. Have any other neighborhoods had success with things like tool libraries, pop-up movie nights in the park, or skill-sharing workshops, and what were the logistics and costs like to get them started?
