I've been freelancing as a graphic designer for a couple of years, but I'm stuck charging hourly rates that don't reflect the value I deliver, and I want to transition to value-based or project-based pricing. My challenge is creating clear, defensible proposals that clients will accept, especially when they're used to hourly quotes. For freelancers who have successfully made this shift, how did you structure your initial project packages and communicate the value to overcome client resistance, and what was your process for determining a fair project fee that also accounted for revisions and scope creep?
