I'm considering upgrading to a foldable smartphone, specifically for the larger screen real estate when reading documents and multitasking, but I'm hesitant about the durability and the premium price tag. I've read reviews, but I want real-world, long-term user perspectives. For those who have owned a foldable for at least a year, how has the hinge and screen held up with daily use, and do you find the software and app optimization for the folding form factor to be mature enough to justify the switch from a traditional flagship phone?
