I'm trying to temper my expectations after Starfield, but the wait is agonizing. For longtime Bethesda followers, which of the current rumors about development progress or gameplay direction seem the most credible based on their past patterns and official teases, and what are you realistically hoping to see them improve from Skyrim's formula?

One more angle: maybe the safest bet is that it'll deliver a solid, well-polished product with fewer rough edges than the early Skyrim era, but perhaps at the cost of some experimental risk. I'm cautiously optimistic but not counting on a quick reveal—these things tend to stretch out longer than fans expect.
