I'm in my late thirties and finally realizing I need a proper skincare routine beyond just soap and water, as I'm starting to see more dryness and fine lines, especially after spending time outdoors. I'm looking for a simple, effective regimen that doesn't involve a dozen products or take forever each morning. For other men who have built a basic but solid routine, what are the essential products you started with, like a good cleanser, moisturizer with SPF, and perhaps one treatment serum, and how did you determine your specific skin type to choose the right formulas?
Nice and simple approach. Start with three basics: a gentle cleanser, a moisturizer with SPF, and one straightforward daytime serum. Keep fragrance-free options to minimize irritation, and do a small patch test for a week or two.
