Full Version: How to balance FPS and visibility in competitive shooters with mid-range GPUs?

I just built a new gaming PC with a mid-range graphics card and I'm trying to optimize my settings for competitive first-person shooters, but I'm struggling to find the right balance between maximum frames per second and having enough visual clarity to spot distant enemies. I've turned most settings to low, but things like texture filtering and anti-aliasing seem to have a big impact on visibility. For other players who prioritize performance, what specific in-game graphics settings do you absolutely disable versus keep on a minimum, and are there any driver-level tweaks or monitor settings you've found that actually give a tangible edge in reaction time without making the game look like a blurry mess?
