Full Version: Addressing shoulder and clavicle deformation in Blender rig during arm rotation

I'm rigging a stylized humanoid character in Blender for animation, and I'm running into persistent issues with shoulder and clavicle deformation when the arm rotates; the mesh pinches and collapses in a way that looks unnatural despite my weight painting efforts. I've built a basic rig with inverse kinematics for the limbs, but the shoulder area just won't behave. For riggers who specialize in character animation, what is your approach to constructing a robust shoulder and torso rig that maintains volume, and are there specific bone placement strategies or corrective shape keys you consider essential for achieving clean deformations in those tricky upper body regions?
