I've been struggling with chronic sinusitis for over a year, experiencing constant facial pressure, congestion, and fatigue that antibiotics and standard nasal sprays only temporarily relieve. A recent CT scan confirmed significant inflammation and possible nasal polyps, and my ENT is now recommending a more aggressive approach, possibly including a course of oral steroids or even discussing surgery. For others who have been down this path, what was your experience with these treatment options, and did you find that surgical intervention provided lasting relief or was it more of a temporary solution that required ongoing medical management afterwards?
