I've just finished a big, story-heavy AAA game and I'm craving something completely different—a smaller, more focused indie game with a unique mechanic or a really compelling atmosphere that I can sink into over a weekend. I tend to enjoy immersive sims, thoughtful puzzle games, and well-written narratives, but I'm open to any genre as long as it does something interesting and polished. Based on that, what are your recent indie game recommendations that might have flown under the radar, and what specific element, whether it's the core gameplay loop, art style, or storytelling approach, made it stand out and stick with you after you finished playing?
