I've been going through a really difficult period after the sudden loss of a close family member, and while my friends have been kind, I find it hard to talk to them about the depth of my grief without feeling like a burden. I think I need more structured emotional support, but I'm unsure where to start—everything from grief support groups to one-on-one therapy feels overwhelming to research and commit to right now. For others who have navigated similar loss, what types of support did you find most helpful in the early months, and how did you take the first steps to seek it out when even small decisions felt impossible? I'm hoping to hear from personal experience about what actually provided comfort.
